Hannari is software that runs in your browser. Once it's installed, it works. There's no server-side magic that needs continuous funding to keep running.
Charging monthly for a tool you've already downloaded feels wrong, so we don't. You pay $9.99 once, and you own the Pro features for as long as the extension keeps working.
If we ever launch a separate product that needs different economics, that'll be a separate decision — current Pro users keep current Pro forever.

Payment questions
Is Pro really a one-time payment?
Yes. Pay $9.99 once. No monthly or yearly charges. Lifetime access to the current Pro feature set plus all future updates within this product.
How does the refund work?
Fourteen days from purchase, no questions asked. Email [email protected] within that window and we refund in full.
How does device sync work?
Sign in to your Hannari account on any device — your settings, custom lists, and learned-kanji list load automatically. There's no device cap. You can sign out of remote sessions from your dashboard if you ever need to.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards worldwide through Paddle. All charges are in USD.
Do I get an invoice for taxes?
Yes. Every purchase generates an electronic receipt via Paddle. If your company needs a customized invoice for tax purposes, email us after purchase and we'll work with you.
What happens when the mobile version launches?
Pro users get mobile access included — no upgrade fee. The mobile app uses the same account and the same license.
What if Hannari shuts down?
Your installed Free copy keeps working indefinitely. For Pro features that rely on sync, we would give a minimum 90 days' notice and a way to export your data.
